F1 2010

September 21, 2010

As you know, Codemasters will launch on 24 september the newest F1 game. To be honest, I just can’t wait to play this new game. I like all this kind of games. I like to play and drive diferent type of cars but a F1 car it’s my favorite. I don’t know whay, but I always feel a special atraction for F1. I always remember what fantastic races we are used to see when drivers like Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna or Nigel Mansell compete in F1. And through this new F1 game my dream to drive a F1 car became reality. Yes, I know, it’s just something virtual, but I don’t know if I will ever have the chance to drive a real one, so this virtual one it’s good enough.

But enough about my dreams. Let’s talk about the game. Codemasters promise that this new F1 2010 game will be the most realistic F1 game which was made until now. And I’m sure that  they will offer us a great game, because I cannot forget RaceDriver: Grid or Dirt 2. Both has been (and they still are) great games with great graphic and, most important, you don’t need a very, very powerful computer to play this games. And the F1 2010 don’t make any exception. Take a look over the minimum requirements and you will be conviced I’m right:

F1 2010 Minimum Requirements

Windows XP / Windows Vista / Windows 7
DirectX 9.0c
Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.4GHz or Athlon X2
1GB RAM (2GB for Vista)
Graphics Card: GeForce 7800 / Radeon X1800 or above
DirectX Compatible Sound Card or motherboard audio
Dual Layer Compatible DVD-ROM Drive
12.5 GB Hard Drive Space

F1 2010 Recommended Requirements

Windows XP / Windows Vista / Windows 7
DirectX 9.0c
Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.66GHz or Athlon X2 4200+
2GB RAM
Graphics Card: GeForce 9800 / ATI Radeon HD 4850 series or above
DirectX Compatible Sound Card or motherboard audio
Dual Layer Compatible DVD-ROM Drive
12.5 GB Hard Drive Space

As I said, you can use very decent configurations to play F1 2010. The graphic look great (at least in pictures and in trailer) and I’m sure that those who use to play this kind of games will be very happy with this new game. Of course, I’m sure that somebody will find something wrong and will be criticize this new game. But I don’t see a brand new F1 game for PC since eight years ago. So, pure and simple, I just don’t care about any bad part from this game. All I want is to play and enjoy the new F1 2010.
